Milan is getting ready for the Expo 2015

Milan is getting ready for the Expo 2015 which will be from the 1st of May until 31 October 2015.
At the moment the Expo Gate which is the first Pavilion in Milan that introduces the public to the Universal Exposition is getting ready and will be inaugurated on Saturday 10 May and will be running for the entire duration of the event.

Next to the Expo Gate;in the courtyard of Castello Sforzesco there is a pavilion Agorà, created by Michele De Lucchi where will be presented the events that mark the path towards the Expo 2015.

During the Milan Design week, in the same place- in the courtyard of Castello Sforzesco where inaugurated an installation “Nido di Rondini” created by Cracking Art Group.The installation which is part of Milano Arte Expo M A E , is about swallows and multicolored eggs and it’s sponsored by Fiat and it is possible to see the installation until the 30th of June 2014.

And what would Expo 2015 be without a good cup of Italian coffee?! :)

The Lago apartment in Milan

During the last years for me a must see during the Milan Desing week&Fuorisalone has been the Lago apartment situated in via Brera,near the famous Brera Art Academy. The building is of the early 1800’s and the actually the Lago apartment consists 2 different apartments.

“Interior Life represents the LAGO manifesto, a message who emphasizes the responsibility of designing and realizing furnishings for all interior spaces,with the belief that everyone could influence in positive, even through them, contemporary lifes quality and so everyone’s own “interior life”

The apartment is also a space for workshops,meetings,dinners and parties.

Living Divani: “Giardino Geometrico” installation in the Brera Botanical Garden

Milan Design week is here again!It’s so interesting to go around Milan and see all these wonderful exhibitions that FuoriSalone has to offer.

In the Brera Botanical Garden there is a beautiful installation called “Giardino Geometrico”

of luxurious comfort of outdoor furniture created design by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani.

So beautiful.
